Not sure about any IM builds, but there is a lot of cool stuff here. WI covers a lot of ground. Where abouts are you?

I am building a couple IM suits, i am orginally from oshkosh, wisconsin, florida now. I know it doesnt help but its cool to see ppl building them up there.

I'm about 40 minutes north of Milwaukee in a small town called Belgium. I've been working on an Iron Man suit on and off as I find new pieces that work. It's mostly made of found items.

Yeah, I am working with a pepakura base, but doing a hell of a lot of body filler and sanding to get proportions and detailing just right. I have yet to take some pics, but can post a few soon.

the worst part is doing the bondo work and having to go in with a dremmel and carve out the details by hand using just a pic as a guide lol

Yeah. I don't always trust my hand with a dremel, so I use a lot of small files and coping saw blades...tedious.

what are you guys using for molding, if at all?

im considering Ultra Cal 30 - yeah the molds are gunna be heavy, being made out of plaster, but they should be sturdy for a few pulls

Not an IM builder but always interested. Definitely big on Batman and working on my TDK suit. I'm down in Kenosha and I'll be attending WWCC in Chicago. Closest thing we have here. Definitely big on the Batman stuff.

Well like I said earlier that I am in florida originally from wisconsin, I got a job offer that is going to be bringing me back to wisconsin, so I will be continuing my Iron man build up there.
