I really, really, suck at sewing and repairs. It's just a skill I never learned and I don't have a working sewing machine either.
I just got my Anovos Battlestar Colonial Warrior (original) jacket.
One sleeve has the lining sewn shut. Obviously something was assembled or sewn incorrectly.
Can anyone recommend a tailor used to working with cosplay stuff or a costumer local to me who can help me out by repairing this? I know it *should be* simple enough for me to do myself, but trust me, I'd screw it up.
I've had bad luck and poor results in the past taking fan costume stuff to local tailors for modifications (or simple commissions) so I really want to find someone "in the community" or at least familiar with cosplay to fix it.
I'm in Southeast Mich around the Metro Detroit area.
