Any ROTJ Boba Fett Experts out there?

Hello,

I am fixing-up a Boba Fett costume for my 7 year old son to wear for Halloween. I was wondering if anyone could tell me... on the Return of the Jedi version:

1. What colour are the little vertical stripes on the left side of the helmet? Red? Yellow? In one picture they look one colour, and in another photo they look completely different!

2. What colours are the two "Arrows" above the visor?

3. Also, the ROTJ blaster is entirely black (including the stock), is it not?

Thanks!

1. The kill stripes should be a dark yellow, just like the ESB, has the same color (if not) darker. The differences you may be seeing are from the special edition fett which was a mix match of the ESB and ROTJ fett costumes for those re-filmed scenes. Even then, I don't recall the SE having red kill stripes

2. They should be red (on the helmet's right) and green on the other

3. I wouldn't say it's not entirely black, but has a rustic brown color/weathering style that dosn't make it entirely true black.

I don't know if I qualify as an "expert" but I know a thing or two about Fett. However, colors aren't my thing (I am completely colorblind). You might ask about the colors on thedentedhelmet.com and find out or someone may answer here.

Here are my best answers:

1. The stripes are an orange color

2. The triangles are red and green (I think)

3. The RotJ EE-3 is a dark grey with a lot of warm washes and weathering.

See the attached pics for details

Yea, I'd listen to Art moreso, alot more experience then I! Im more a Jango person myself.

But one thing that I can tell you, is lighting always affects the prop's true colors, so interpretation is always an option. The Jango two-tone blue looks completly different under low or bright lighting. I can only imagine how much worse this is with a Boba helmet!

James,

Sorry about that. I have been out of the country and have quite a backlog of PMs right now. I am working through them as quickly as possible!

Definitly yes an orange/yellow color and red and blue/green arrow.
not that you need the confirmation :p
yes the stock is the same at the main body in color

Not sure why you dudes are saying red & green arrows. The left arrow is either a black or, if anyone wanted to over-think it, Floquil's Weyerhaeuser Green which is basically black. The rest is silver and dome green overspray.

The stripes are a reddish orange.

.......but if it's for a 7-year-old. I doubt he would be upset that your overspray technique wasn't up to snuff. I didn't have anything like that when I was 7 except a sheet with two eye holes. Press.
