Any intel on the BSG blaster MIM is selling?

I just saw that Monsters in Motion is selling a Battlestar Galactica blaster replica for $179. Does anybody know who makes this or where it lies on the continuum between great and crap?

I have had mixed results with MIM stuff. Several years ago I bought a Space: 1999 comlock and stun gun replica from them. The comlock was servicable but the stun gun was an utter embarrassment.

I would hesitate to plunk down $180 for this without some sense of the quality. Especially since they give no indication at all of who makes this and what it is made of.

Yea, i'm not to sure about MIM stuff also, but i found this awhile ago and wanted to get one, I ended up getting a nice cast off ebay, but if anyone has any info on the quality of this item I might pick one up if they end up being nice.

if you mean the TOS version , they also sell one of Wilco models for $50 IIRC.
