any info pn an ash chainsaw?

The saw is a real chainsaw, so it is a found part. it is a Homelite Super XL from 1978-79. They are hard to find but out there.

The trick to finding them for me was to realize the horizontal circular vent on the side was added and it not part of the factory saw.

Where might one find this circular vent? Also, when molding the saw for reproduction, what would be the easiest way to mold the engine block side?

*edit*
I just recieved my homelite xl chainsaw from ebay,i've prepped it for modding, all i need to do is put on the top handle, mount the engine block & muffler, and find a wristband that matches the one used.I went to lowes yesterday with a picture of what i needed, and the guy said i would have to fabricate the metal band myself, anyone know what i can use?I dont think i could do a very good job if i had to do it myself,i dont have anything to roll the metal.
