Does any one know what kind of shotgun Anton Chigurh used in "no Country for Old Men"? It looks like some kind of Automatic with a supressor. Also is that a Levi's black denim jacket he is wearing or am I just not seeing it correctly..??

I believe it is a Remington 1187.

The IMFDB say it most resembled a Remington 11-87 with an inadequate suppressor. Though they say it might be a 1100 due to the date of the film as 1980 and the 11-87 wasn't made yet.

Without further photographic research, but given the shape of the fore-end, position of the retaining pins on the receiver (above the triggerguard), & what looks to be engraving on the receiver (near the lower, front, left-side), I'd have to concur with your assessment.

I thought the suppressor looked a little short, but wow did that make a cool sound in the movie!
