O.k., so I looked around the forum to check on this subject, and I'm still a little uncertain. I have a tan trench coat that is 65 % polyester, and 35% cotton, that I want to dye a rust like red. I'm making my own Deckard Bladerunner coat, but it's tan! I'm thinking if I get a dark red, or just red dye, and soak it I'll get what I need. However, I know it''s never this easy! I was thinking of using some Rit dye. It does'nt have to be perfect, but I want it to look at least uniform in color. An other thoughts?
