Animal display, so far

Wanted to post some pictures of our Animal Photo Puppet.
I say our because I bought him for my Wife for her birthday.
I knew I wanted to display him with a drum set.
I found a set at Toys R Us made by First Act that was the perfect size, only it was $100. Didn't really want to spend that if I didn't have to. I looked on craigslist and found one for $20. Much better. Not to mention it was used so the drums show signs of being played. The set was blue and I didn't like that. So I bought some Orange Glittery adhesive backed Vinyl on ebay. While I was waiting I got out the paint and painted the mouth design on the Bass drum. Out of all the drum logos I've seen, I like this one the best. Vinyl showed up and I was able to finish the drum set. I will add a few more drums to the set to make it more full and some more cymbals too(got to have a hi-hat). The pedestals in the picture are temporary. It is
3 put together. I will make a one piece pedestal for him.
But this is just to show pics.
I haven't done anything to Animal yet.
This is straight out of the box. I will fix the hair, eyes, and make a spiked collar with chain, wrist and ankle cuffs.
Let me know what you think so far.
Thanks!

awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am trying to plant suggestions with all my family for xmas as i must have one of these

Yeah, You posted yours right after I got mine.
Great minds think alike you know. :lol
I think it is the most natural way to display animal.
I just bought some more cymbals and drums to add to mine.
Found 2 larger cymbals and a hi-hat for $20. And a Floor tom and snare drum too.
I found a second drum set on craigslist for $20. They seem to be showing up frequently for that price. Not sure I need it though. If I had gone with the star or electric mayhem design, I'd do the 2 base drum thing.

How's yours coming along?

I'm out of town right now so I can't take a pic, but I did do a cover for the bass drum. After all my looking around I came up with three options: The Dr. Teeth theme (yours, which btw, looks fantastic!), then there's the Muppet Show logo which I really liked. I went with the third, and honestly the most boring. I did the spike soundwave as that's what seems to show up the most often. I'd like to add another set of cymbols, but then I think I'll call it done. Granted more drums would look more impressive but I have a fairly large prop collection so I have to pick and choose which pieces I have the most room for. I could SO see myself going all out for this one, but I have to fight the urge.
On a side note, if anyone is thinking about picking up an Animal, I hate to say, right out of the box IMO, he looks terrible. He looks very unnatural and doesn't truly represent Animal as you're not used to seeing him from head to toe. He's tall and lankey with no real position to put him in where he looks "right". You almost HAVE to get a drumkit for him. But once you do...well, see for yourself. :)
