Winehouse wore her addictions like a badge, lived the lifestyle for all it was worth. Kids who follow her and her soulmate, Doherty, are getting seduced into thinking it's some sort of cool, romantic, 'poet' lifestyle, rather than a living hell, and she played up to that image. To me that just makes her a waste of skin.

She's not the first, nor will she be the last. Many are guilty of wearing their addictions like a badge - many more influential that Amy Winehouse - Keith Richards makes it seem like dying from drugs is impossible and someone else already brought up Robert Downey jr - heck his troubled past no doubt played a part in his being cast as Iron Man.
