anyone watching??
first episode was last wednesday night on FX @10pm. i'm sort of liking the documentary approach here and given how slowly paced the show was, i can only look forward to the next 2 episodes when they rip our faces off with some disturbing stuff (que blind monster with strapped on ***** performing the in/out on a heroine addict's rear).
i think they're testing to see who the hardcore fans are by taking it slow but the show has always had shock factor in the first episode so, i'm hoping i'm right about this. story is a bit strange though, that this interracial couple is attacked in LA and moves to the EastCoast to outbid some inbred hillbillies on a house in need of a lot of work that's located remotely on like 30acres of land.
he's a salesman and she's a stay at home wife, they're trying to get pregnant again but he goes away on these biz trips and she's left at home alone as the creepiness sets in.
also seems to have a bit of the Blair Witch vibe running thru it and what's weird is, the timing of the BW2 movie just hitting theaters at the same time..... this a coincidence or they going to try to tie the two together?
thoughts??
