Right now im just trying to figure out the best way to draw on the design since ive ordered a bare version of the costume.

The body is already broken into the main red and blue sections so that's one big headache down. Ill have to freehand draw on the sections (black webbing lines). The emblems should be easy enough to stencil on.

The main difficulty is getting on the hexagon patterns. Ive tried cutting out stencils but each hexagon is so small that tracing them using chalk (so I can erase mistakes) is super difficult and messy. Im now considering making a sort of half assed stamp, where i can coat the fine hexagon pattern (50+ hexagons in a square the size of a playing card) with chalk then press it against the suit leaving a rough pattern to fix by free hand. Ill post some testing pictures once I resolve this.

You'll get it! Perhaps just use a sharipe and draw then overlay with puff paint :confused
Btw I ordered the same zentai suit just now.. let's hope for the best LOL
 
When you put the item in your cart or something along the road of purchasing theres a button that says estimate shipping before you give them any information or actually pay. I did this weeks before actually buying the suit, which was 15$ to eastern Canada.
 
Small update!

Still waiting for the suit and lenses to show up. 2 weeks and they still havent even shipped the suit. Very unimpressed with this company so far.

Ive designed my own red and blue pattern (which anyone is free to steal from me).

They might not be totally accurate but they are designed and printed off to follow measurements given to me by other costumers.

I print this off on heavy card stock and cut out all the white leaving just the pattern as a thin card stock net. Ive realized its near impossible to trace this stencil (these octagons end up being less than a cm across) so ive found a new way to go about it.

I coat one side with chalk (just your typical classroom stuff), shake off any excess dust then press it against the fabric and rub. When you remove the stencil you have a perfect, very easily erasable pattern left. This can easily be traced using puff paint, as the chalk does not affect the paints ability to adhere.

And by the way, the quilters soap stone pencil was useless. Its literally like rubbing a rock against the fabric. Not even sure why this thing exists.

More to come when I actually get my suit :facepalm

Oh man! That seems like such a great idea! Have you tested this method on actual fabric yet? How well does the chalk transfer?
 
Just wanted to add my 2 cents in, for those on a budget with no skill/experienc eon making costumes, or for those who want to tweak an already made Spidey costume that is VERY good quality, I HIGHLY recommend the rental quality suit by Disguise Costumes:

The chalk transfers really well. This is about the size of a playing card on an old tshirt I had lying around. You can fiddle with a little more or a little less chalk, but what ive come up with here is just enough to both easily erase and trace.

And another update! Finally got my glasses today. I am incredibly happy with the quality of these. They are seriously heavy plastic and you cant see the wearers eyes when worn. Theyre very reflective yet looking through them is just like wearing 3D movie glasses or weak sunglasses. Good size and shape. Ill dremel off the nose and ear pieces and paint the frames black, then figure a way to attach them to the suit.

Can you take a pic of the glasses on your face? they look massive in that picture, is it just the angle you're holding them at?
 
Good stuff! If anyone is interested, I'll be selling a prototype suit (modified Zentai) It'll include webshooters and asics to your size.

While this isnt my face its pretty accurate. Theyre probably an inch off the guys head too, and held at an awkwardly high position on the face cause of the poor nose piece.
