I got advice from a seamstress for my sewing.
I just did an overlock stitch. No 2nd stitch needed. For the fingers i used a normal straight stitch cause its easier to sew the curve of the finger tips.

Honestly I think once you get the webs right and the whole thing put together i think that red will look really good.

This is just so close to perfect, but it's still not QUITE there yet. For the red fabric, may I recommend something like this? Amazon.com: Debutante Stretch Satin Fabric Scarlet Red It's that deep scarlet/burgundy color and it has a shine just like movie suit. It honestly looks pretty spot on IMO. Also, do you plan on using kenlandrums bloated bricks? It's a small detail but it's just that much more accurate.

I ordered some swatches from that source, including a sample of that fabric, and I'm sorry to say it, but the debutante scarlet stretch satin is not suitable for this costume. It's thin and has almost no stretch whatsover. I dont know why they use the word in the description, as none of the "stretch satin" swatches I recieved from that source had any useable stretch. The moleskin seems promising, though the online color looks too warm.
