Aliens - VP-70 Collonial Marines pistol - colour?

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have a question about the VP-70 pistol in Aliens. Should it be khaki green, black or a green slide with a black grip?

Quickie edit - mine was a VP-70Z, that being the civilian legal 9mm. The mil-spec/special ops VP-70 pistol could mate with a shoulder stock, enabling a 3-round burst option.

The VP-70 which I owned back in the Eighties was black. Everything on that pistol was black: outer, inner, all of it! Except the safety On/Off indicator, that was the traditional red. Trigger pull on that pistol was a bear and a half.

The upper pistol in the pic attached is the actual HK. The lower one was a dart gun; the late 1990's was a great time for cheap toys that were surprisingly accurate to the originals.
