Although this thread contained some interesting information in the form of posts that are no longer available on the forum, the way in which it was presented will accomplish little more than revisiting and rehashing the battles that were originally fought. Enough damage was done back then; we don't need to revisit it in a way that will inevitably lead to the questioning of the motives and intentions of members on both sides of the issue.
We may look into possibly integrating some of posts and information back into the forum for posterity (like anyone would be interested in our collective ramblings
