Hello All! I recently discovered this website and have been blown away by it's members. My wife and I decided to go all out this year for Halloween, and be prepared for MegaCon next year so we're doing some Marvel Characters. She ended up going with Black Cat and I'm going with Agent Venom. Here are my reference pictures, I wanted to do sort of a mid-transformation because I hadn't seen one done before.

So I'll be using EVA Foam for the armor, Super Sculpy for the symbiote, and InstaMORPH for various other bits.

I started on the clawed hand first, I decided to mold the claws out of instamorph which I will attach to a lyca mid-length glove, then airbrush

Next, I made a set of teeth from translucent super sculpey, which were baked to harden, then wet sanded and left to dry for 24 hours. Then I did a clear satin finish on them to seal them before adding shades of brown to give the aged look.

Then I started working on "phase one" of the symbiote, I was going to try and use instamorph for this completely as I couldn't think of a good base for the sculpey, but then I got the idea of tinfoil, so that's how this came to life.

Still have some tendrils and satin finish to add to that piece. Let me know what you guys think!

I started working on my armor templates this evening, using this as my reference.

To keep things symmetrical, I'm using manila folders and drawing half the template and then cutting with a razor knife. So here's the outcome of that.

It's four separate pieces which I think I will have to double layer with EVA to get a nice thickness to it, so it doesn't just look flat on my torso. This is my first build, other than airbrushing ourselves as Red Hulk and Red She-Hulk for a super hero themed 5k
