So, I was asked to make a guitar. I used to make them, and he and j made a toy bass a couple months back.
Anyway, best we could do on short notice…
Jigsawed some 2x4 scraps and some found 1x4 junk. He sanded it and painted it (helped a bit with glue too).
It’s drying now. He wants a sound hole like an acoustic so I’ll be gettin’ medieval with a hole saw tomorrow. I thought his sunburst came out pretty darn good for his first try!
We used trimmer line for strings on the bass… I might have to get real strings for this thing.
