Advice on heating plastic/forming

Two part question. 1. I'm looking to get some clear orange, moderately thin plastic sheets (PVC, PETG, something along these lines). I've looked online and found one place, but does anyone have other suggestions?

2. I want to use said sheets to form sort of a... bracer. Something that can be slightly curved to fit around my arm. Can this be done with just a heat gun safely?

Heat guns are very high temperature, and the molten plastic WILL burn skin. I'd recommend using a mannequin arm or comparable diameter section of PVF pipe to form it around.
