Advice on a silicon mold over latex master?

Hey guys, Im in a bit of a pickle here and was looking for some advice on what i could do. I have a foam filled latex master copy of a bust i did. Unfortunate the mold was destroyed in a move. I also found that the bust itself was so big it took to much monster makers foam to fill it. I was thinking of doing a resin version of it, but was wondering how one would go about doing that or if its even possible? Could i do a brush on silicon over the foam filled latex master and use plaster bandages to create the mother mold? or will the silcone stick to the latex? Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks for your time guys :)

do some sealing and curing tests on some latex. Try spray paint not clear either use a color so you will be sure you've covered it completely. try a silicone test over that. I would really recommend if the latex bust is solid enough I would make an ultracal negative of it in very thin coats allowing each to almost set completely so the weight doesn't distort the latex bust. then seal the stone negative ad do a silicone positive fill that with semi rigid foam and make your new silicone negative over that. with proper releases all around of course. Hope this helps

I have had a lot of luck with clear coating latex and using tin cure silicones.
Basically about five or six coats of Krylon Crystal Clear will seal it enough to make a usable mold. It also works for clay with sulphur in it. I would do a few tests first, just to make absolute sure. I'd also recommend a shell shock mother mold instead of plaster bandages. Plaster bandages break down very quickly.
