Accurate Anakin AOTC Lightsaber

Hey y'all!

Back with another! ;D

So, this saber required a lot of work. You may have seen in the build log thread over on FX. Also my video explaining how much preliminary work I had to do to get this right.

I welded on a aluminium tube to the spine of the hollow core and custom machined a pommel with sound holes, groove for an o-ring and recharge port hole using the solid core piece that Trid ships with the sabers.

Once that was all done I machined a custom heatsink module for the LED and then spent hours polishing the thing and making it nice and shiny - still not perfect though! :shy:

I then contacted my go-to guys - Force Relics - to custom design me a 3D chassis for the NBv2.0 and PeX and speaker holder. Since this thing is so tiny, I had to ensure I could get a perfect chassi for the components. It came out great and they hit it out the park once again! Thanks guys.

That is so cool. I always felt the props in the PT that had LEDs in the hilts should have at least had them light up on the hero sabers.

Indeed ... great skills and beautiful piece of craftmanship ... it does make me a little sad to be aware that most of my lightsabers are just static props the same as in the movies ... however I can appreciate all the new posibilities available today to all you youngsters ... that said : 'Now get of my lawn!' :wacko
