A Phased Paper Plasma Rifle in zee 40 vatt range

Anyone else notice this yet? From our friend who brought us the Paper Pulse Rifle. Looks great! :thumbsup It looks like it's been posted for a few months, but I didn't see any threads about it here.

How big is a real plasma rifle, for scaling this sucker up?

I built this thing and it has over 100 parts. It took FOREVER! Unfortunately the barrel is sagging a bit due to the structural weakness of the card stock. This is a great way to test build wood/plastic version, though.

Wow, I think I accidentally stumbled on your blog earlier this year. Cool stuff! Did you ever post pictures of it in your blog?

I didn't post it because it wasn't my work. It does look pretty good but suffers from the weakness of all paper models. Well, maybe other people are better with the paper....If I can't use putty, it ain't going to turn out pretty!

The photos on the bottom of the download page are representative, though. The texture mapping is excellent!
