A monster planet that devours everything in its path!

MovieFreak - thanks for the pix - I have all of those, but thanks anyhow. The ones I would really like are the others of him with Ops hand round his throat, for some reason I cant save them??? - Colin didn't leave anything about passwords behind, but by getting into his email account, I am able to get into all his other accounts, so I have been in his photobucket, which is where I found literally 1,000's of pix of all his models :) When I get the right mindset (if I ever do :( ) I will divide all his pix into albums and put them onto memory cards for safe keeping. Will be a lot of work tho, as I said 1,000's of pix :)
Also, I just logged onhere in his ID and have found loads more pix, but they are probably the ones from PB ??
Sadly, Colin sold his OP, R2D2 and Ravage models :( but I do have Unicron, which he was working so hard on & was so very excited about, but obviously, it isn't finished. I have had someone offer to finish it for me, but I want it left as Colin left it. It's my treasure x

Unfortunately that is the only one I had with him in it with Ops hand.

These are just the hands, but you can see his love for G1 transformers and the attention to detail is amazing!

Glad I could help. Didnt get a message back but no worries I just wanted to send you a quick note :) Hang in there

Where are the photos you were trying to download? Give the link and let some here have a crack at saving them. If someone can save them, they can email them to you.

Mrs M I'm so sorry that your time with Colin was cut short and please accept my sincerest condolences. I did not know Colin but it's safe to say that the craftsmen and craftswomen of this forum are lessened by the loss of one of our fold.

I'm sad to hear about this. My condolences to you, Mrs M.
I did not know Colin. I don't usually visit this part of the forum, so I have not seen his threads until now.

I have some first-hand knowledge of cancer, though. It is very unusual for people in their mid-late 30's to get cancer, unless they have some kind of genetic mutation, such as e.g. Lynch Syndrome. If you have kids or Colin had siblings, then I strongly suggest that you make sure that you know if he had any hereditary mutation, and if so, if others in the family also have it. The most common type of tumour in the case of Lynch Syndrome families can be prevented to a high degree, but the syndrome must first be known. Not everyone wants to know, though, and should not be forced to go through testing.
You may already know this and the tests might already be done, but I know that doctors don't always know everything or tell everything or do everything that they are supposed to do, so I am telling you this just in case.

Mrs. M, I'm so very sorry to hear about Colin. Good thoughts and prayers to you and all that knew him.

Dave

It was his work on the Ravage that sold me on his attention to detail. That one is still my favorite of his builds (especially the transforming aspect in the briefcase). Way too young to go, but man what a life he lead when he was still around.

I am so sorry for your loss, I wish you and your family all the best during this terribly sad time, god bless.

Thank you all so very much for your very kind messages. I can tell from what is written here that Colin was very well liked on the boards, as he was off of them by all who knew him. He has left a HUGE empty space in my life, and both of our families lives, and I miss him terribly :( x

Hi all. I am Colin1972's wife.
I'm not sure if you guys are aware or not, but sadly Colin passed away 6 weeks ago :(
I just thought I would pop by & let you know, just in case any of you were wondering why he wasn't posting anymore
Take care
Mrs M x

I'm sorry to hear about this, Mrs M. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. :(
