My kids grew up watching the movie A Christmas Story, so my wife & I decided to surprise them and decorate our kitchen like the kitchen in the movie. This was a 4 month project of shopping flea markets, Thrift Stores, Antique Shops, and on-line. It wasn't to re-create the kitchen, just decorate it with props, but I ended up getting more detailed than I originally intended.
