Just joined the group and wanted to share a project I just started.
I got a DaVinchi XYZ printer (I know its a cheap one but wanted to try out 3d printing) and wanted to try it out by building a imperial probe droid from Empire.
Its not to any specific scale more built so the largest part fits the 5.9" build space of my printer.
Im building it in Maya. So far I have the top built and am building the sensor pods and main body next.
The largest part in the photo is 2" across.
Again I look forward to many more posts.
Comments and suggestions are most appreciated as its my first scratch build.

The lines are not nearly as visible in person and im going to smooth out what I can with some Squadron putty.
