3D printed Shore Trooper

A friend of mine at work is making this on his home built 3D printer. Printed at 2 microns, this is two days of print work.

That is approximately 8 million times better than my printer would ever do. Very nice. If he wouldn't mind sharing his printer build that would be awesome.

I'll ask him tomorrow. He's doing the full armor also. He gave this to me today too. Very cool. A little clean up and I'll add lights and a switch.

2 microns would me pretty much impossible for an FDM printer, I'm guessing he printed the helmet at 200 microns, which is 0,2mm. That's a regular layer hight for FDM printers.

Ok, it probably was 200, I don't know that much about 3D printing, lol.
