I am in the process of refurbishing a lighted 22" Enterprise and need some help. The first question is does anyone have or know where I can get piece I'm missing in the photo below? I think it's called the reactor control loop and you can see the 2 slots on the inside of the nacelle where it should go. Second, should I leave this painted like this or should these vents be silver with the indentation dark grey? I've seen reference material and other models at CultTVMans sight showing both.
