Seeing as this was made for someone, and fit to their body size I'll wait for him to receive it and try it on for actual wearing pictures.

2 piece undersuit. 1.5 Mil thickness.

Top:
Welded seams that will not tear, rip or pull apart...ever!

The back zipper closes from TOP to Bottom, and there's a snap buckle that the cod piece tension cord attaches to. The tension cord is tightened and the excess can be trimmed off.

Notice the heavy duty stitch and seam work. This entire undersuit was constructed and built with the premise that it's for costuming and given the needed elements from a production stand point to make it work as such, basically so it does it's job...doesnt sag and holds firm.

Bottom:
Has built in suspenders to ensure that they'll hold the legs in place firmly and without causing added 'bulk' by using snap on suspenders that actually could tear or ruin the neoprene.
Even though it's not easy to see this yet, the lower leg is long enough to go into the boots, but cut off without going down to the ankles. It's not necessary and only causes added heat as you'd have your socks and boots on to cover that area anyhow.

The neoprene itself is textured just like the Begins undersuit. It's very subtle but it is there. Also this neoprene is paintable so anyone needing it to be a different color for it to blend into whatever it is they desire, it can be done.
For the production suits we'll be pigmenting the adheisive so it blends into the undersuits better.

Gloves were already done eons ago so we'll be introducing them with this as well and Dave is 'entertaining' a boot run but only if there's enough serious interest in them.

Details regarding sizing and price will be made available once I'm ready with it all. Approx 4 weeks turnaround time so all you Halloween-ers can still make it!!!!!

Dave,
what are the chances of painting on latex for texture, and for building up some low level muscles onto these neoprene suits?
I am thinking down the road what I want to do for a body suit. I would like to do it the right way, sculpting over a casting of my body. Then the idea was to go with latex like most people do. The only thing I hate about latex is the inevitable wrinkling and sagging. I'm under the impression that neoprene would tend to contract a bit, giving the suit a more form fitting appearance. Can that stuff be brushed on? If not, I was thinking of doing what I said at the beginning of this post. The other thing to consider is that urethane and neoprene rubbers are not water based, so deterioration would not be a factor.

Thanks Carl

Thanks Mortal Immortal!

Hey Carl,

Hmm...I think it can be done but it might be a bit 'overkill'..
Once a suit is latexed, it's coated so it doesnt really need to be a PVC coated neoprene suit to begin with. Can it be done? Sure...but I'd rather go with a standard lycra suit in that case, slightly larger so the shrinkage factor after the latex sets wouldnt be a problem...and build up my muscles from that.

Your idea is a neat one though. I've seen a few costumes made that way and when done right they really look the part...especially when they move and flex..there's no buckling or sagging.

Hey David-

Theres a costume I am going to make and the neoprene would be awesome for it. You make girly sizes too right?

Is it possible to alter the neckline a little?
