Dagnie, my deepest respect, not only that you can flatten the characters costumes in Blender and use the 3D Prog, no you can also make a fine silk screen (?) print of the costume and do some muscle shading on the N52 Supergirl costume. I can't really sew if my life would depend on, though I had textile ed in school a looong time ago…

I'm curious if you'd be willing to share your unpacked/flattened version of vi's suit. I'm having the hardest time trying to figure out how to make it from scratch.

Understandable. Any pointers for how to go about doing it myself then? I've kinda hit a brick wall on this project :C

I reaaaalllly want to see some of these come together!
Seeing you just crank out the patterns to print is so exciting and motivating. I want to give it a shot myself sometime!
If you don't want to sell the files, you should seriously consider selling kits of the printed fabric... it could help fund your... addiction =P

good lord, how can you handle the stress of sewing all that? i'd rage quit after the first one!

edit: i also agree with phal on selling kits or whatnot, i've been selling some helmets to keep me from being broke throughout the school year, and i must say it's helping out a lot, even to the point where i am able to save a bit for future projects or another motorcycle!

WOW! I thought trying to juggle two cosplays for one deadline was hard enough.

Just voted! Didn't get a chance to comment on the finished project yet, but fantastic job Dagnie. Print turned out great and you definitely look the part.

Haha, I can totally sympathize with the costume bug as I've got multiple in the works, just have to find enough events to go to in all of them :D. But, wow, that is a lot of fabric and sewing ahead of you, best of luck :p
