1950's style Raygun

So I'm currently making a film set in a sort of quasi 1950's retrofutureistic style. Obviously I need aRaygun. This was a two day project of building and painting. The handle is made of foam and the barrel is made of various pvc pipe sizes.

I wanted to have it look like something the the American Pickers found.
