1/16th scale Snowspeeder Scratch Build

I am trying to make a copy of the Fine Molds Speeder a bit bigger.
I love the detail on the 1/48th scale offering but it's a little to small!:lol
So here we go.........:thumbsup

I just realized even though I have been staring at the Fine Molds box the kit came in that it's 1/48th scale!!:lol So my speeder is 1/16th scale not 1/24 I will change the threads name.Probably won't be doing anything kit wise with this scale.:thumbsup

This is a beautiful build. I've been re-working one of the old hasbro ones and I think your route would probably be easier and MUCH more accurate.

I have this fantasy that someday I'll own a 1:6th snowspeeder and a-wing.
Seeing your build gives me hope that someday I'll get off my butt and make it happen.

Are you making this for the figures? If so, I think it's way out of proportion. But it looks very cool.
