Not many pics to show, but this is where I am right now. I ordered a mannequin last week and it came tuesday. It was too scrawny so I ended up padding his biceps and triceps, chest, and upper legs.

So originally it looked like this:

after the padding it looks like this:

I'm REALLY happy with the way it's coming along so far. I've been slowly putting it together over 14 months. I have boots on the way (they are just stand-ins until I can find the ones I really want) and I need to modify the sith armor gloves to have the appropriate look. I'd like to replace the chestbox lights and a few other pieces, but this is where I am now. Hope you guys are as happy with it as I am so far!

Great looking ROTS Vader! Looks like the real version. Looking forward to more pics.

Whats that cool speeder bike you got?

That's just a slightly repainted Hasbro one that I got from a friend back in june or july. Thanks for the compliment on the vader!

Looks great so far! Beautiful paint job on that chest armor.

Could you tell me where you got your soft parts from? That's where I'm stuck on mine.

Very cool. :thumbsup Glad it's all coming together so well for you. :) Much better looking with the padding, and you were right the repaint on the armor looks perfect. Odd question but how tall is the mannequin your using?

Nazgul- Streamlined is one of the main reasons I like this outfit. It's clean and just a beautiful representation IMO.

Danakin- The soft parts are as follows: Larry Greene Productions vader suit. It's not real leather, but it just looks the part to me. The inner cape and outer cape are Custom Props (the wool versions) in ROTS style. Belt is a $20 target belt. Cod is rubies. Gloves are sith armor and are being modified.

Finhead- Thanks! The padding worked out way better than I thought it would. Auto paints really bring it to life!! The mannequin is 6'3 without anything on.

Update: Got the boots on and armored up. Now I just need to finish working on his gloves, put them on, and he's done!

Looks great! The padding really set off the look. I've always wanted to put together a ROTS Vader myself, but money and time are two things I'm lacking right now, good stuff thanks for posting and I'm looking forward to seeing your progress.

I'm not a Vader expert, may I ask is the helmet the MR that came out a few years back or another maker?
