1:1 LEGO saber question...cubes?

Question for anyone who owns one of Luukes 1:1 LEGO lightsabers.

Anyone know how the pommel cubes are attached? JB Weld? Holes drilled with connecting rods, and JB Weld?

I tried PM'ing Luuke with no response, so I thought I'd ask.

The one I owned had a loose cube, it was held on with just a metal pin. I didn't see any JB Weld in there.
