1:1 Harrison Ford - Raiders display

Hello, its good to finally be on this forum :thumbsup

Below are some pictues of a bust I had commissioned by a member here that will form the foundation for what will hopefully become a definitive lifesize ROTLA display.

Over the coming months I will be sourcing accurate gear components and I am already really enjoying the research aspect of the project and been inspired by other great lifesize displays from people here.

The pics are not great and the jacket is just my old suede tossed around the shoulders but it gives a feel at this early stage. I look forward to the Indy experts chiming in and learning as much as I can from the wealth of knowledge and talent on these boards

I assume that's the bust Chewie15 showed a couple of months ago?

I would HIGHLY recommend that you contact Marc from AB. I've just upgraded my display with a Raiders shirt that I got from him and it's superb. He also offers an extremely accurate holster and buckle for the bag strap.

You're the first member from WA that I've seen on this board (well, that I know of anyway, some members don't put their country in their profile). I was starting to think there were no other West Australian out there, other than me, who was intrerested in props! :lol

The first pic was without flash so the skin tones came out much more lifelike. I will try and have some better photography organized soon, this was rushed.

Yes Chris it is Howard's bust with some tweaking, he has done a superb job with this. The hair color under the hat is a dirty blonde/brown - very close to Ford's sun-bleached color during Raiders period. Yours and Agent 5's displays have been an inspiration.

Hey Kadajiroth, yep us West Aussie's seem to be a rare species on here!

Will keep everyone updated with progress, I hope to build this into a museum quality display.

Man, that is just a thing of beauty right there....

That is the howard sculpt. I'm wondering about the nose though, it looks different from mine. I have the resin version painted by camper. Was it refined for the silicone version or is that just how the pull turned out? Either way think its more accurate on the silicone ver.

Congrats on a tremendous score and the start of a great project. A big sigh of relief as the worst part is over "the head"....At least in the dinero department. Now comes the fun part of choosing gear. Its a monumental task so BE PREPARED!
