007 James Bond BluRay Single Box Art

With the release of Skyfall closing in, MGM/Fox is finally going to deliver all Bond movies onto BluRay. A feat that was going to happen had MGM not gone bankrupt. While there will be the complete collection (including an empty slot for Skyfall), they will also be releasing most of the films individually. And to be quite honest, I totally dig the artwork. Here are some highlights.

Most of the Roger Moore covers are the typical generic "Bond points gun at something", but I thought these were the stand outs. I can't put my finger on it, but I love the Goldfinger and From Russia With Love ones to death.

I'll pick up my favs once they're all out. Just about all of them have been released now or are available for pre-order. I think only OHMSS and YOLT are missing from my personal list. I've got all of these on DVD, but I expect that the visuals will be an improvement. Be curious to see what the extras are with these and whether they duplicate and/or add to what came before...

I hope they have everything from before plus a bunch of new stuff but I'm greedy.

These should all be two disc sets FULL of extras. Lord knows there's loads of material out there to put in there.

Looks good. Oddly enough I was just about to get one of the collection sets from Biglots on dvd for 30.00. It's been there for 2 years and nobody touched it. Guess i'll wait.

There are some great special features on the DVDs but I'd hold out until we find out what the SF are on the new set. :thumbsup
