If you're thinking of this pic, the lines near the base support in the flat upper section are pencil lines.

No Cracks in the resin top or bottom that I am aware of. Can you point them out in any of the images? I appreciate the help.

Finally bottom section on. Landing bays work as well as engines and all lights. Doesn't look as skinny as before. Just a few final tweaks and she's done.

Ya, she does look skinny. The lower hull is last to go on. Just finalizing the landing bay lighting since the decals weren't the best.

yes, the paasche is under-rated in my opinion. Especially with the fan spray. Massive coverage of around 3 inches in one pass if wanted. Great for base coating or overall primer. Much finer than an aerosol can and doesn't seam to obliterate detail. That was my big worry since there wasn't...

I want to take a moment to mention the airbrush I used for the kit. This was a Paasche Talon TG. Comes standard with a 0.38 needle and tip. Good for close in work. However because the kit is so large it would take forever to cover the entire model. Rather than using an Aerosol can I used...

Thanks Edge. Not quite done yet though. Still a few touch ups, finish landing bay wiring and clip off fiber. Also building a mirrored base for it. More to come.

Now for painting details. Then entire model was base coated in a combination of Vallejo Acrylic Polyurethane surface primer. A 50/50 mix of #73602 Black and #74601 Grey. This acted more as a pre-shade for the panel lines but for me it was very important. I was having a hard time seeing the...

Ok, for the lighting I used Woodland Scenics "Just Plug: lighting components. Although pricey they are a simple, plug together system that allows for allot of variation. I figured that this kit was worth the investment. I housed the control components, " light hubs" for ease of access in the...

Got her painted. Vallejo Grey Primer as the topcoat. Dark Grey basecoat is lightly visible in certain areas such as heavy detail. Overall I am pleased with the look of the grey/white.
