I'm almost convinced the SyFy network is having influence on the 'honorable mention' so the cast members can get some kind of recognition for their work. Otherwise, their winning would be few and far between.
I noticed that too. But honestly, I think they were having some fun with that scene and wanted to put it in there.
A twist on the "He's dead/No he's not dead and will be back bigger, better and stronger next season" Yes, in "reality" they would've carted Garrett off, but I groaned mid-Garrett...
A few? Level 8 agent (Hand) 2 guards, an entire base (The Fridge) including letting loose all the prisoners, ALL the secret technologies, including the gravitonium that only Grant knew about...but decided to hand over to HYDRA anyway, AND potentially let HYDRA know about a fully furnished...
For me, the only part that wouldn't make sense is only Ward knew about the gravitonium. Garrett and the HYDRA team knew nothing about the underground bunker. Ward could have easily gained confidence without handing something so dangerous over.
Also, I still think the talk with Coulson and Ward...
Considering how many agents he killed, PLUS he just helped hand over all of SHIELDs confiscated technology as well as got the gravitonium that apparently no one knew about that he could have just kept quiet...I'd say he's HYDRA
