For those of you who contemplates visiting the exhibit, there are free entrance every thursday 17.00-21.30 for all of the museum. Not just this exhibit.

The Case will be cleaned up, but otherwise kept as is. I've wanted one for my vintage collection for the past 20 years or more. They are somewhat rare here in Denmark. The premise behind my 3D design was what might an actual Star Wars blaster rifler had looked like, had the case been a toy copy...

This is what I came up with.

The rifle case was only released for ROTJ, so it makes little sense that it would be a tie-in for anything Hoth. The rifle released with the Sideshow figure resembles the one released with the Kenner Stormtrooper in Hoth gear. In ESB the troopers only carried E-11s, and not anything resembling...

That just brings it to close to Kentucky Fried Chicken - 19 pieces of deep fried bird... And Kenner made several figure cases. LRC-19 at least mentions that this is the laser rifle case. Progress is slow, but here is where it is at the moment

Here is where I am so far, in my interpretation. Trying to get the general look, and major parts in there. Without it being a literal 1/1 conversion.

Here are the pics of mine. As they clearly shows, it is severely yellowed from UV damage. The inside shows the original grey colour. And it is missing one of the clips that holds it together. But I got it relatively cheap. I didn't have any of the carry cases as a child. But am now slowly...

I got one of these yesterday. Not mine on the pic, but identical to. As far as I know, this is nothing more than the Kenner design team, that came up with their own unique design for this one. Probably to make a really boxy design, to be able to carry all the figures around in. But does it...
