Finally got around to gluing and weathering my Plo today. A few more tweaks and I'll call it done.

I meant the version that specifically used the MR, not the castings. Really an interesting way that they went about this prop.

Resurrecting this thread, but great work on this! I do have to ask . . . did the MR saber have a brass neck or a gold plated neck? It looks like everyone's agreed that the MR saber was the base with a Roman's ANH balance pipe. If that is the case, I'm thinking they simply dulled down the gold...

Put mine on a display stand this afternoon.

Very impressed with these little parts. Took all of five minutes to E6000 them into place. Now I just have to engineer a proper stand, and it the communicator will be right at home with the rest of my TV series equipment.
