I almost bought that kit years ago thinking it was the plastic model kit version. Turns out that one is much harder to find nowadays.

At least the model kits have been going for ridiculous amounts for some time now. But yeah, probably even more now.

Nice! Can’t wait to see what you do with it. The more I look at it, the more I’m starting to prefer Mando’s modded N1 to the original.

I’m kind of hoping Bandai make one. I managed to get my hands on a few of the Fine Molds ones before they became so scarce but I would most definitely be up for getting some from Bandai. They would most likely be 1/72 is the only thing, same as the FM which are fairly titchy.

May have to try to convert one of my FM N1s into that Mando one.

Having said that, Bluefin are official distributors of Bandai Star Wars kits in N. America, just like Revell are the same for Europe and the UK.

Andy Moore’s work is absolutely incredible. By far my favourite model kit builder/painter. Super nice guy as well.

Love the weathering on this build John, really nice. How are you finding the nub placing when it comes to being out of sight on this kit? What I mean is when I built Phasma, inevitably the chrome suffered from the nub placement and there were multiple visible parts where the plastic showed. Just...

i started off not really caring about the figures and only going for ships (and the droids). But on a whim I bought a clone trooper and was pretty blown away by it. or those who love the 1/12 figures. But yeah, it’s pretty hard to find the 1/72 starfighters for retail at the moment. Hopefully things will pick up soon.

Bandai is replenishing stock though. Probably not as often as before the pandemic, but I’ve been able to pick up kits (like the clone trooper) that are going got insane prices on eBay, at retail from BBTS when they got a restock in.

It's got less content than Part I & II, but is still very much worth it. I also had it on backorder from HLJ and I think it took just over a week before they had it for me.

Just arrived today. As good as the first 2 books so far!
