Next phase, jigged up and gluing. Drilled pilot holes and pinned using nails, glued with wood glue.

Start of a new build, D9 arc generator. Started with the Weta pic (very nice) grid scale for a 37" length overall (a little short I know), and cut core blanks out of 3/4" MDF. Anyone else who has done or is doing a scratch build of this, please post, any pics/info will be greatly appreciated :)

I was wondering if any one here was (or had) currently building one of the marionettes? I've seen the 'behind the scenes' footage for a sense of their construction but was curious if someone had already tackled it?

hey all I've never been a big poster of fourms but I like this one so I'll see how it goes. My first build for this fourm is a ZF1 from 'The Fith Element'. Because i made the paper pattern from scratch the proportions arn't very accurate. Because of this I think i will do a 'covert' version...
