Thanks for the kind words. I decided to lace the entire thing with a PVA glue mixture and it's strenghtened it a great deal. Still mulling over ways of adding support to it for when I wear it to avoid it slipping off and breaking.

The gun was produced in the UK and hand-delivered to avoid any such problems, while the prosthetics were ordered from a U.S. based website :-/. I still won the Best Costume prize, so I can't complain too much.
