Dark Souls 3: High Lord Wolnir Goblet 3D build

I picked up a printer at the beginning of this year (polyprinter 229) and started learning Zbrush. This is my second Zbrush project for print. The first was Artorias's helmet. I haven't had the chance to print it yet. I'm waiting to finish other projects first. The plan is to print this in ABS...

    SyFy's Heroes of Cosplay

Hope this isn't necro-posting, but I just saw this.... The entire process began back in November 2013. My brother was pushed by his gf to try out for the show. He was selected and interviewed. Then, he tried to get me to go on the show with him as a 'brother/sister' group. I have to admit, I...

    Nier: Grimoire Weiss Book

Making this as an xmas gift for a friend. I found some reference and traced it in illustrator. I just needed to know where the cut outs where. Got that printed and cut out all the holes. I found the perfect book to use at half price. Only $10. I plan on wrapping the front in leather before...

    Skyrin: Mehrune's Razor Build (Finished)

The styrene wasn't that thick. Maybe 2-3 millimeters. I got it from a train hobby store. Alas, I do not have the vectors for the razor anymore. I lost them when my hard drive died last year. My process was to scan the concept art, and then trace that in Adobe Illustrator.

    SyFy's Heroes of Cosplay

That Mannequin was hell to work on. We only had three days to do it. Not our best work. :( Plus, for Miggy: They filmed the 'construction' of his costume months after he had already made it. The cold temp was just an added bonus that the producers could run with for story drama.

    Skyrim: Jagged Crown Complete

Next came the bone. I actually had a list in my sketchbook of the steps. It involved my fingers, several sculpting tools, pencil lead, and orange skin. Overall, I'm very happy with how it turned out. Unfortunately, that's where my WIP photos end. I got too excited and into the build to stop...

    Skyrim: Jagged Crown Complete

After starting the project just under two years ago, moving twice and getting a new job, I finally found the time to finish the Jagged Crown. I started off with a low poly model from the game which I imported into Pepakura, unwrapped, printed out and assembled. Then came a slush cast of...

Re: North Texas Meetups - Saturday, February 1st at 2pm! It was great meeting everyone today and listening to the stories! I'll be sure to bring some of my own stuff to show off next time.

    Castlevania God Mask Build

Update on the Gods mask. I found more reference and am incorporating the new details. I've also begun smoothing the finished areas. The next obstacle is to figure out how to add this detail:

    Castlevania God Mask Build

Latest progress, more sculpting. Trying really hard to get the symmetry right. And the reference I'm using: Here's the Devil Mask that I did prior:

    Castlevania God Mask Build

Starting work on my second Castlevania mask. I did the Devil Mask just a few months ago, and now I've been commissioned to create the God Mask to go along with it. So far, I've got about 3-4 hours of sculpting done. Still need to flesh out the face before I can go in and smooth it down, then...

    Skyrin: Mehrune's Razor Build (Finished)

Finished the build and now I'll post about it. I started with a vector layout of the dagger and the scabbard. The scabbard will be made at a later date. I had to have the dagger done by Thursday of last week. The first cast was promised to the Child's Play Auction that is taking place at RTX...

    Halo Reach: Skirmisher Build

Little bit of progress on the Skirmisher... I've decided to have an actual eye instead of just something sculpted. This is just a temp eye though. I'll be going through the process of molding, casting, painting, and sealing to make a real looking pair of eyes.
