    Fallout series on Amazon

i haven't played ANY of the games, and yet I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I think the casting is great, the storytelling compelling (for players and non-players alike) and I am stoked for season 2

    Looking great so far!

Star Wars The Acolyte (tv series)

Yes, and while it was cool, it definitely wasn't AS cool as seeing the Maul fight for the first time.

    ALIEN: ROMULUS News And Updates!

To be fair, we got a one minute TEASER trailer. We may get a full trailer on 4/26/24, but we've been shown very little so far. I think it's a bit early to judge.

    ALIEN: ROMULUS News And Updates!

That is the starting point to the story, yes. it's literally how it begins. however, there is most definitely more to the story, as this is just the set up for the movie.

***EDIT I realized I'd already stated all of this above. Apologies.

Star Wars The Acolyte (tv series)

Yes. that's the intent of a bombastic claim... to hype. Obviously they can't say the "have" topped the darth maul fight, because it hasn't been shown yet and nobody can independently judge it. but they CAN say they're aiming for it, and even though on the surface it sounds innocent enough, you...

Star Wars The Acolyte (tv series)

The fact that they are specifically positioning themselves to one-up established--and well loved--things seems to me to indicate a distinct lack of imagination. Either that, or they're hoping the bombastic claims will attract viewers if only to see if it's true. HINT: it isn't.

Star Wars The Acolyte (tv series)

Yes. And this is a good example of the original concept which the Prequel era jedi were modelled after: Edo era Samurai. Their clothing is loose and weighty. It's not meticulously tailored (like the Acolyte costumes are).

Star Wars The Acolyte (tv series)

I expect the wookie is displaying some form of a Chonmage (traditional Edo period Samurai top knot hairstyle), but not only does it look silly, but it also seems like a too-on-the-nose shorthand for Jedi (read: samurai)

    ALIEN: ROMULUS News And Updates!

According to Ridley Scott, the Engineers have fostered life on several planets--including Earth--using the black goo. The opening scene of Prometheus shows and engineer drinking something and dissolving into the waterfall. That 'something" was supposed to be the blood of the first Deacon (which...

    Viking Shield

Bjorn! Nice! Watch out...Rollo is about to take your head off You might like this. Its a screen used shield belonging to Olaf Haraldson from Vikings: Valhalla. Below it is my wood and leather shield that I spoke if previously.

    Viking Shield

You might give it a try! Its much easier on the arms if youre not doing full combat. I have used these for combat training, albeit with foam weapons.

    Viking Shield

Yeah...I made my first one from wood, steel and leather and it can take hits easily but weighs a ton. Ive made several of these foam ones for carrying in formation at our viking market events. The core is 1/4" panel board (like peg board, but no holes) and i covered the backside with 2mm foam...
