Spider-man: No way home costume thread *SPOILERS*

Actually, at 2nd glance I'm wrong. The webbing is real, it just isn't as thick as the ones from the original Raimi films. It's like a couple cm raised from the fabric. At 1st glance the webs do look like those Raimi Spidey Dye-sublimated patterns

Spider-man: No way home costume thread *SPOILERS*

I knew something was off in the entire movie. Raimi Spidey's webbing was a dye sublimated pattern. Probably because the original suit's sculpted and molded webs inflated the overall costume budget for the original trilogy. It doesn't pop or contrast compared to Marc Webb Spidey's sewn in webs

    The Flash Gold Boots

Looks like a brand of Asics, with the arches. Many modern Nike and Adidas running shoes are flat footed. They look a lot like Nikes Aptare SE. But these have slimmer soles Even though this is a replicas part of the forum. I recommend to go to the DC Costumes and Props section in "Costumes &...

    Son Goku (FINISHED) (PIC HEAVY)

MID-LATE OCTOBER Time to finish this up I did a hairspray test, which is based on my hair. Why not take a wig from a cosplay artist? Because the hair texture of my ethnicity is different and I never get to have fun with my hair. Here are some notes for my thinking process from July I got all...

My Raimi Spider-man replica suit build *in progress*

I'm not sure whether or not a moderator will transfer this thread to the appropriate place, but there's a marvel costume section. Even though it's a replica costume build, the forum has areas the spread out cosplays based on a bigger IP like comics and franchises so there's space for things...

    Son Goku (FINISHED) (PIC HEAVY)

It’s been a while but I didn’t give up. I just procrastinated on posting AUGUST I got the taekwondo gi that will go alongside the pants I then used some old craft foam for the shin guards Then I did barely any progression besides purchasing a blue scarf for the belt location for a few weeks...

    Son Goku (FINISHED) (PIC HEAVY)

JULY At first a filler month, then in the last weeks I bought blue sports tape, asked for blue shoes for my birthday because I knew that I wouldn't have enough cash in my cosplay budget in time for my original fabric shoe plan, shin armor patterns for EVA foam and long socks as my ideal...

    Son Goku (FINISHED) (PIC HEAVY)

JUNE Pants! BAGGY ASIAN PANTS! That's all for now. This month wasn't it for the cosplay. Also no need for the half mask because (current events)

    Son Goku (FINISHED) (PIC HEAVY)

MAY College murdered me, but I saved up all of April to buy a tang suit for the blue undershirt. Which is pretty much a thin Japanese gi/tunic. I'll have to dye it vibrant blue somehow.

    Classic/Modern Spider-Man Cosplay (HELP PLS!!)

Hey man, saw your post earlier and wanted to let you know that there is a marvel costume section on this message board. You’ll probably won’t get any input here as this section is not specific for Spider-Man. Also, I feel like the back spider is fine, as most dye sublimation designs do the same...

    Son Goku (FINISHED) (PIC HEAVY)

The shoe pattern has been done. I taped the shoes with regular paper tape and cut it in half with an X-acto knife

    Puff Painted Spider-Man Suits

Love the effort man. Amazing how puff paint can elevate the very ok dye sublimation suit

    Son Goku (FINISHED) (PIC HEAVY)

Hi, I'm posting this here so I can self motivate myself by posting the progress on a public site. In developing a cosplay for the lead character of the Dragon Ball series JANUARY-Early Concept I drew up some concept art in order to define the outfit in a real world setting I'm working it...

Spider-Man Movable Lenses/Shutter Lenses: Puppetry technique

So I was planing on purchasing Cavin Creation's movable eyes but they sold out. I do not have the time to do the arduino stuff on my own, but I saw a lot of tutorials on the puppetry version. But I can't keep my eyes off of McLean Krieger's movable eyes v2 . Most puppetry versions use the jaw as...
