    Max Rockatansky Fury Road costume

Thanks for your reply :) I see, this is the same one recommended by Fury Road - Mad Max Costumes if I'm not mistaken... They seem to not have too many versions in stock anymore but maybe I find something similar - thank you very much in any case :)...

    Max Rockatansky Fury Road costume

What a fantastic project! That's the kind of costume where you can really see the love and detail the maker poured into it! May I inquire what sort of shirt you used (or is it a sweater?) and how you aged it? Love your Idea with the Powder Pigments! I'll try that one out in future projects for...

Crocodile Dundee Knife (Mods done. Post #20)

How cool is that?!? I recently made my own version and it was SO much work! Learned how to braid and work with real crocodile leather! I don't have many Fotos but if you want I could post some here tomorrow. I would be super interested in what you found out about all the details and how you...

    Owen Grady Knife / Leatherman

This is so far my contribution to this project. Maybe it helps somebody who has the same or a similar object. If anybody is interested I could also find fotos about the leathercase of the Leatherman. It is like five years since I finished that one tough so I wont make the effort exept somebody...

    Owen Grady Knife / Leatherman

I made another Knife for myself before which didn^t turn out quite that good. I liked it very much tough like every object I make by hand. unfortunately, the sheath was too lose tough and after a while it slipped out without me noticing and got lost. I wouldn't make THIS mistake again so I...

    Owen Grady Knife / Leatherman

This is how the maple grip looks after I used the Aquafortis on it. I first thought I may need some colouring too but it turned out the reagent was enough to achieve the "tiger"-effect that was seen in the movie.

    Owen Grady Knife / Leatherman

Here we can see the two knifes after I grinded and polished them (not perfect but after like three days I had to leave good enough alone)

    Owen Grady Knife / Leatherman

Here we see the how I rough-cut the maple to an approximate form and glued it on the steel before glueing the Mosaic Pins in the holes. The other knife is exactly the same exept that I used a different wood as it was a present and the receiver asked for this.

    Owen Grady Knife / Leatherman

In case somebody is interested in the process: 1. I researched the Original and made a cutform in what I assume was the correct size (see attachement) 2. I than had it cut with water out of CNS steel 1.4034 in 3.5mm thickness 3. I had it sharpened and hardened by a professional because I don't...

    Owen Grady Knife / Leatherman

This is a project I tried to finish for more than five years (!) now. I learned making Kifes and tooling leather for it and spent WAY more than I ever anticipated! It is a Replica of Knife and Leatherman the Character Owen Grady wore in the first "Jurassic World" Movies from 2015. Back then I...

Kill Bill "Bride" Katana Replica (Hatori Hanzo Style)

Finally I made some progress in my Katana Project! Just got my Brass Kojiri for the end of my Saya (Scabbard) which is one of the most difficult parts to get right. Can't wait to paint and attach it to my Saya! I am thinking about making casts out of the piece because the 3D printing is quite...

KILL BILL - Hattori Hanzo Blade - the bride's sword - detail photos

Most excellent work my friend! I' m on my Journey for my Bride-Katana as well and at the moment I only dream to come as close as you are! May I ask how you did the side carvings for the golden stripes? I assume you used the Goldtape as well and at the moment I try to find out how to carve a...

Kill Bill "Bride" Katana Replica (Hatori Hanzo Style)

The one aspect I try to conciously divert from Jasons Version is in the engravings on the Saya itself. He produced some georgous results by CNC-cut his Sayas but unfortunately I`m unable to do that myself because I don`t have Access to a machine at this time. Additionally, I checked the Hero...
