You are correct. I mentioned that. There are 3 versions of the BP. Only one had an inner part made of Inconel.

Re: The 'Ideal' Obi ANH Derwent Interconnect Replica There are 3 versions of the Balance Pipe. Only one of them had an Inconel inner part. I believe the other 2 were Nickle Stainless. None of the Outer parts were Inconel either, they were all Nickle stainless.

How are you guys displaying your original OWK's?? Someone recommended the box from Hobby Lobby. That's what I'm using but I don't like the lock so I'll have to modify it.

Thanks. I made it up as I went. I have to make another for my replica but that's probably it. The threading is for a 1/4 20 rod. Not sure what any of the other adapters are.

Finally had a chance to assemble it. This is a rough test fit pic. I machined an adapter for the Balance Pipe yesterday out of brass with 2 o-rings so it won't wobble and fit tight. Test fitting I also machined an aluminum spacer. I need to tap some transistor holes next.

I wish! I traded the last extra one I had for the grenade.

I had a box of them at one point. As far as I know I was the first person to find a real one after the discovery.
