Somewhat related question here… I've been curious about the locations used in "Jingle All The Way". The Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota locations are pretty well documented and I know the Universal backlot was used for the big parade scenes, but does anyone know where the INTERIOR scene with...
Re: Rocketeer Film locations Today (Griffith, Ennis House, Santa Maria Bigelow Hangar
Believe it or not, the Ennis House (or Ennis-Brown House, as it's sometimes called) does not appear in any finished version of "The Rocketeer" (1991). Some filming was done with the Jeff and Mike characters...
The Rocketeer GeekFest last night at the El Cap was only made geekier by the fact that yours truly was there...
I know of FIVE SEQUENCES DELETED FROM “THE ROCKETEER” that would be great to have included as part of a BluRay release:

WOW! Your cousin did a great job on that Jacket Artwork! He had a God-given talent! Looks like in one of the photos you can see through to the back door and the grass & trees out behind. You said it was dark in there, but was all the wood interior taken out? What was left?

On another note, here's a cool aerial view of the Disney-MGM Studio...
Wow! I have never seen that photo of the bulldog before. Can you say where you got it? Here's what I know about the original: The inspiration for the café as designed by Rocketeer comic book author and artist Dave Stevens was “The Dog Café”, a circa 1928 restaurant that was once located at 1153...
Thanks for this info, Tony! Any idea if anybody documented the tearing down of the the Bulldog Café? Seems like somebody must have taken some pics as it was taken down - or being removed... About all I know is that it was put in place in May or June of 1991 and removed in the summer of 1996...
Yep. That item can be found here:
The Rocketeer Bulldog Cafe "Eyes" Production Blueprint
"Used during Filming to construct Full-Size Bulldog Cafe Eyeballs (10/26/90)". This must have been the San Pedro Bulldog "attic" set - especially since the main Bulldog set was already built by then...
