Green Goblin Pumpkin Bomb Build (2002, 2021)

I know the feeling. I bought the EPAX specifically for the Los Alamos job because it paid for the printer. Now I can use it for other clients or to print out full sized helmets!

Green Goblin Pumpkin Bomb Build (2002, 2021)

Elegoo are good printers. I started with Mars, then Saturn and finallly Epax. I just printed some replica Mars Perseverance Supercam parts for Los Alamos National Lab for a museum. I still use the Saturn for some things, but I'm looking to rehome the Mars printer. I love the Epax, as the build...

Green Goblin Pumpkin Bomb Build (2002, 2021)

That's totally understandable. Honestly, I'm amazed that I don't stumble upon more pirated 3D models. I don't go looking for them, so maybe they are there and I just don't visit the sites that have them. Will you be printing this yourself? Let me know if you do kits. I just ran a batch of...

Green Goblin Pumpkin Bomb Build (2002, 2021)

That looks great! Are you going to sell the kits or the 3D model? Sorry if that was addressed in the thread somewhere. I skimmed the thread but wanted to chime in so I can get updates on your progress.

Interest 3D Scanned Harley hero mallet from Birds of Prey casts

I had the unique opportunity to scan one of the screen used, hero Harley mallets from Birds of Prey. I have 3D printed one and they match up ridiculously well. It actually made me laugh (not sure why). It is so accurate, it actually picked up a spot that had been damaged in and repaired by...

    Birds of Prey (movie)

I can't help with that prop, but I did get a chance to 3D scan her hero mallet from the film. I'm waiting for my larger resin printer to get here and I will be printing and molding!

    Working Rubik's Cube replica costume

He won first place in the costume contest in his school! He was absolutely elated. I'm not sure where we are going to store this thing, though.

Mostly half inch foam board. The base is made out of pine. I attached some nylon straps to the base, so he carries the weight on his shoulders.

    Working Rubik's Cube replica costume

If this falls outside the guidelines, feel free to move or delete. I just wanted to share it. My son wanted to be a Rubik's cube for Halloween this year. Without thinking, I said, "Only if it works." He's quite mature for his age so I sometimes forget that he's just eight years old and doesn't...

    1:1 Slimer (Ghostbusters 1)

I've put in a little more work on my display. I've not had a lot of time, but what else is new, right? I managed to get the logo attached to the base using #4, 3/4" screws. Lots of them! For my next trick, I'm 3D printing and CNCing parts for the ghost trap which will hide most of the pole...

    1:1 Slimer (Ghostbusters 1)

I don't imagine shipping would be a lot. I'll weigh mine and get a ballpark figure I can make these any size, up to about 40". 40" is my maximum cut size (until I have a larger space to work in :p). I definitely had some bare foam spots on the arms. It wasn't horrible, but it was there. The...

    Original Slimer from Ghostbusters

Nice job! I have one of these too. I wish I had gone with glass eyes. Mine is foam filled now, and done all except for the eyes. They will be the last thing do. I'm working on my base now. It has been a labor of love!

    1:1 Slimer (Ghostbusters 1)

The mouth was a special kind of torture, yes. I foam filled mine with 3 lb rigid foam, and then filled in gaps with epoxy putty. The roof wasn't as bad for me, it was the lower teeth that were a nightmare. I see all the things I missed, but I think most people who come into my office and see him...

    1:1 Slimer (Ghostbusters 1)

Steve's and mine are from the same mold. Tom did an amazing job on that Slimer! My understanding is that the molds are shot.
