You get a bunch of people that hate the first AVP and a bunch of people that hate the sequel. I hated the first one because Paul Anderson directs the same sort of film over and over again
There is a tomb/lab/ship something bad goes down. A bunch of scientists and soldiers go in, nothing happens...
i wouldnt expose my 4 year old to any of the alien or predator films. my parents did a good job of holding off til i was at least 12 (they didnt consent but i still saw it anyway at 12) reason being is its easy for us all to say they are not so scary to todays standards, but its taken us a lot...
From what i have seen in predator 1 the predator unloaks when being completely covered in water mainly due to the gauntlet computer getting wet and shorting it out. In predator 2 alough you got the sparks and such, the predator didn't actually uncloak, im assuming because only his feet got wet...
I think all the other predators in the landing craft were all elders, as part of the rite of passage code of honor they were not allowed to interfere with the main predators hunt. They earnt their wings and their respect and were only here only to observe and mark the progress of the main guy...
Just something i noticed that thought i should have brought up. When the containment team got wiped out by the predator and harrigan went in to help, he shot the predator down with a shotgun and pretty much knocked it for six. Why didn't the rest of the team who were sitting in the trailer come...
i know what its for and will more than likely use it in my next vid. was gonna slap one of these together in 3ds max or after effects but u saved me the trouble. thanks mate
Thank you all for your nice comments. My next film will definatly have more attention to detail, be much longer, more story driven, and as i stated earlier, will follow the path of the predator with little or no human interaction what so ever
Yeah, lighting can be awkward sometimes, especially in 3d. I didn't want to have too many lights in the scene as it would cast unwanted shadows and look very unrealistic. I wanted to have a primary light (sunlight) and add an ambiant light for the softer shadows
The only thing i'm having problems with is getting the hair to animate and move naturally. I have tried to use reactor, rope and cloth simulator. I may just resort to adding a bone chain onto each lock and animating them induvidually. May be more work, but at least they won't look so rigid
Lol i actually spend most of my life rigging characters, paid and for fun, so i know all the tricks and shorcuts (im about to make a 3d rigging dvd to sell) Ironically the predator charactor was probably the easiest to rig because the bare body was the only thing that needed to be rigged. All...
