CA glue is easy and common and killer for styrene. I have weld on 4 and a few other things, and I almost always just rock CA with accelerant. Hard to beat.

I asked if the voice effect was part of the mask, or altered in post. She answered that it was altered in post. Unfortunately that's all the info she provided. I want to replicate it also. :/

Hey all. Finished the Furiosa belt for a client. I went balls for accuracy. I'm pretty proud of it. Pics aren't awesome. Hopefully I'll get some back from the customer after she gets home from SDCC. This is my first time posting a thread, so if there's a better way to go about posting the pics...

I emailed the production designer to ask about Immortan Joe's voice. She responded a week or two later. :) His voice was in fact altered in post, BTW. Also, the weird jewelry chain among the other more standard utility chains on joes right chest, is 11mm antique brass rolo chain.

I'm working on a belt build for a friend. Here's a current WIP of the emblem. I'm scuplting the cross pieces and the bottom teeth now. Has anyone had luck sourcing the chains for the belt? Ive found plenty of jewelry chain but it all seems a bit small.

I fully agree. One way or another I'm going to make it part of my build. I've been messing around with just my respirator, and I think you're right. I'm betting I can get there this way and build whatever it is into the mask and bellows on the back. Thanks!

Awesome so far. Did you just happen to have this stuff? I'm working on a Joe costume also. I'm wondering what everyone's plans are for his chest. I figure it's a good excuse to build a vacuformer, but I'm hoping to not have to sculpt a big muscular chest.

This is beautiful. This is the first Joe mask that has made me consider buying instead of building. Put me on the list of people you notify if you end up doing a run.

I'm also curious on the details of the few shots we saw with the mouth open. Anyone have any insight into that yet? Also OP do you have any plans to add voice modulation/amplification into the mask?
