I found that the unusual chess clock used in this movie was manufactured by Fattorini & Sons of Bradford,England. It made its debut in London in 1883. I hope you have found it useful.

The first prop will be static with no working parts. The second prop will shoot sparks from the prongs :cool

Perhaps now those are too thin but I'll see better when I'll do the full scale drawing.

Can you post some screenshots of the straight prongs? Tomorrow I try to decrease the angle and stretch it a little.
